The Colorado Rockies will try to bounce back from a dismantling at the hands of LA in their last game. Entering Thursday’s game, Connor Joe has 86 hits and a .257 batting average with 17 doubles, 5 home runs and 4 triples. CJ Cron has 106 hits with 21 doubles, 2 triples, a team-high 22 home runs and 71 RBIs while Ryan McMahon has 15 doubles and Charlie Blackmon has 98 hits with 16 home runs and 59 RBIs of his own up to this point in the season for the Rockies. Randal Grichuk also has 9 home runs and 43 RBIs as well this season. Jose Iglesias also has 21 doubles of his own and a .302 batting average on the year. Chad Kuhl will start here and is 6-5 with a 4.48 ERA and 69 strikeouts this season.

Los Angeles is 4-0 in their last 4 road games and 41-15 in their last 56 division games while the under is 7-3-2 in their last 12 games against a team with a losing record. Colorado is 6-2 in their last 8 home games and 7-2 in their last 9 home games against a team with a left-handed starter while the under is 5-1-2 in their last 8 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600.

I get the case. To be made for either side here, but I’m sticking with the under in this one. This is just a really high total for a matchup between two starters in Chad Kuhl and Julio Urias who have been pitching well, with Kuhl dealing fairly well at home and Urias has turned his year around after a rough start to the year. I think this is a spot where we get a low-scoring duel, so give me the under.
