The San Francisco Giants will look to get back on track after their loss to the Cubs on Friday. Joc Pederson leads the Giants with 17 home runs and 43 RBIs while Wilmer Flores has 81 hits with 55 RBIs of his own, 20 doubles and a .248 batting average. Thairo Estrada has 82 hits with 16 doubles and 41 RBIs as well this season. Mike Yastrzemski also has 20 doubles of his own as well as a .228 batting average on the year. Jakob Junis will start here and is 4-2 with a 2.98 ERA and 44 strikeouts this season.

Chicago is 6-1 in their last 7 games overall and 4-0 in their last 4 games against a team with a right-handed starter while the under is 4-1-1 in their last 6 Saturday games. San Francisco is 4-10 in their last 14 games against a team with a losing record and 1-4 in their last 5 games against a team with a left-handed starter while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 game three matchups .

I get the case to be made for an underdog in certain spots, but this isn’t one of those spots in my opinion. I don’t love Jakob Junis, but he’s certainly better than the alternative here as Drew Smyly hasn’t been very good lately and the Cubs, despite a recent hot run, still are going nowhere fast. The Giants need to take advantage of winnable spots to keep their name in the hat for one of the Wild Card spots down the stretch and we’re getting a decent price to fade the Cubs which is something I’m always in favor of. Give me the Giants.
