The Texas Rangers will look to build on their series win over the Angels after a 5-2 win in Sunday’s series finale. Nate Lowe has 100 hits and a .275 batting average with 16 doubles while Adolis Garcia has 18 home runs and 63 RBIs. Corey Seager also has 92 hits, 23 homers and 54 RBIs and Brad Miller has 29 RBIs while Marcus Semien has 18 doubles, 14 home runs and 49 RBIs and the aforementioned Garcia has 95 hits and 20 doubles as well on the year. Jon Gray will start here and is 7-5 with a 3.62 ERA and 113 strikeouts this season.

Baltimore is 7-0 in their last 7 games against the AL West and 16-6 in their last 22 games overall while the over is 4-1-1 in their last 6 road games. Texas is 4-10 in their last 14 games overall and 9-26 in their last 35 games against the AL East while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record.

I get the case to be made for either side in this one, but I’m looking at Baltimore in this one. The Texas Rangers are a solid team and Jon Gray has been one of the better arms in Texas’ rotation this season, but I still feel like we see the Jon Gray that was in Colorado a bit too often and I think this line is giving too much respect to the Rangers here. This Baltimore team is playing really well despite some shortcomings in Cincinnati, and at this price, it’s hard to pass on them. Give me the Orioles and the plus money.
